SANRUSAN is a gallery for functional art.
We believe a chair can hold a body and a question with equal seriousness, and that the most considered work being made today is the work in which design has stopped pretending it isn’t art.
How the Gallery Lives
Openings
Each exhibition opens with the artist present: an evening built around the work and its maker, for an audience of collectors, architects, interior designers and press.
The Private Calendar
Between openings, a year-round series of private evenings brings distinct collector circles into the space. Small rooms, long conversations.
Representation
Beyond the exhibitions, SANRUSAN acts as the artist’s representative in Romania and the region: placing work, cultivating collectors, building a market where none existed.
